Dhanbad Traffic Police Tighten Enforcement: 30 Vehicles Seized, ₹5 Lakh in Challans Issued

Traffic enforcement has been intensified across Dhanbad as the traffic police launched a major checking drive against violations of road-safety rules. During the enforcement operation, 30 vehicles were seized, while action was also taken against drivers found operating vehicles without valid driving licences. According to the reported details, six drivers were identified for driving without the required licence. Traffic personnel conducted checking at multiple locations across the city. The drive focused on violations such as wrong-side driving, improper parking, missing vehicle documents and other traffic-rule violations. Auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws were also included in the checking campaign as officials examined vehicles and their documents.

New Dhanbad–Coimbatore Amrit Bharat Express: Route, Timings, Stops and Complete Details

Dhanbad: There is major good news for passengers travelling between Dhanbad and South India. The Railway Board has approved a new Dhanbad–Coimbatore Amrit Bharat Express, creating another direct rail connection between Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. The new service will operate via Gaya, DDU, Prayagraj, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Katpadi before reaching Coimbatore. The train is expected to be particularly useful for passengers from Dhanbad, the wider coal belt and neighbouring regions, including migrant workers, students, business travellers and families travelling to South India. Importantly, this new service is different from the existing Dhanbad–Podanur Amrit Bharat Express. The new train will follow a different route through central India.
